The Tennessee Titans earned the No. 1 overall selection in the 2025 NFL Draft. Somehow, a lot more has happened since then. General manager Ran Carthon was relieved of his duties, head coach Brian Callahan was confirmed safe, and president of football operations Chad Brinker is now the organization’s de-facto decision maker. Approximately nine candidates have already emerged to replace Carthon. The list of potential interviewees includes assistant general managers around the league like Ian Cunningham (Bears), John Spytek (Buccaneers), Ed Dodds (Colts), and Mike Borgonzi (Chiefs), and former GMs Reggie McKenzie and Thomas Dimitroff, to name a few. Once a GM is officially appointed, they’ll collaborate with Callahan and Brinker on putting together a draft board. The Titans essentially have three options with the No. 1 overall selection. Draft a quarterback (Cam Ward or Shedeur Sanders), draft the best player available (Travis Hunter), or trade down.
