All the New England Patriots want for Christmas is a left tackle and a true No. 1 wide receiver to pair with burgeoning star quarterback Drake Maye. In reality, they could use a lot more that we touch on in our 10 Christmas wish list for the Patriots in 2025. But this time, we’re shifting the focus directly onto the 2025 NFL draft, where the sentiment of what the team should and shouldn’t do is split right down the middle. If the season ended today, the Patriots would have the No. 2 pick of the draft. Should they use that pick on a left tackle, wide receiver or trade down and accumulate more picks? It’s important to note this is a much weaker draft than it was in 2024 with three quarterbacks being the top-three picks.
