The Cleveland Browns fell to 1-5 after losing to the Philadelphia Eagles, putting them right in the crosshairs to land the likes of superstar Travis Hunter. The Browns imploded to start the season and quarterback Deshaun Watson can’t get the offense off the ground. The Browns jettisoned star receiver Amari Cooper to the Buffalo Bills for a third round pick. They also included the 6th round pick they got from Detroit in the Donovan Peoples-Jones trade. The organization is starting to reload for the dreaded “next year.” The Browns must find an exit ramp from Deshaun Watson this offseason. It’s all that matters for their next season. The Browns will not have a better draft pick than this year if Watson plays the entire season. The Browns should seriously consider drafting a quarterback. In previous mock drafts, I’ve made the case for selecting Shedeur Sanders and Jalen Milroe. We’ll explore all of the quarterback options throughout the draft process. For now, I’ll make the case for some of the best players in the draft.
