Things aren’t all that sunny if you’re a Chicago Bears fan right now. As the team fell to their third loss in a row on Sunday against the Patriots, the playoffs are looking like a longshot as they head into the hardest remaining schedule in the NFL with a sub-.500 record. Good news, though: as WCG’s resident draft nerd, I get to play the part of hopeful optimist and provide insight into what the Bears might do in the 2025 NFL Draft! Using the lovely NFL feature at PlayoffPredictors.com, I went through and predicted the rest of the 2024 regular season. I went this route solely to give the Bears a higher pick in this mock. At the time I’m writing this, they’re projecting to pick at No. 16. Given the current trajectory of the team, I don’t expect that pick to be as low as it is.
