Barring a trade, the Washington Commanders won’t be on the clock in the 2023 NFL Draft until around the middle of Thursday night’s first round. Trading down would offer the Commanders a twist. From a big-board perspective, that’s a maneuver they should and likely would strongly consider, depending on who is available at No. 16 and whether other teams see value in moving up. It’s a scenario we’ve explored several times in this space. What’s one more?
