After making the playoffs in 2021, the Raiders have watched the AFC West go bonkers in the offseason. The Chargers added Khalil Mack, the Broncos traded for Russell Wilson, and the Chiefs, even without Tyreek Hill, won’t be an easy out. Luckily, the Las Vegas Raiders have made moves of their own. The first domino was signing veteran pass rusher Chandler Jones, who has had one of the most productive careers getting after quarterbacks. Jones and Maxx Crosby will form a formidable duo on the edge. They moved Yannick Ngakoue, trading him to Indianapolis for corner Rock Ya-Sin, who had his best season in 2021. Ya-Sin joins a corner room that needs serious help. Then, of course, there was the blockbuster trade that shocked the NFL landscape. The Raiders traded their first and second-round picks to the Packers for superstar receiver Davante Adams. Adams gets to reunite with Derek Carr, and he signed a massive five-year, $141.5 million deal. Adams and Hunter Renfrow will be a dynamite route-running pair, and Darren Waller healthy should be great news for the passing game in 2022.
