With free agency well underway, Ryan Poles is sticking to his word. He showed his hand in his introductory press conference when he said he wanted to “build through the draft”. This is now quite evident given the fact that the Bears have not done much this free agency with splash deals. They have essentially just added multiple players that can be starters without overpaying. Because of this, that gives me the idea that Poles wants to trade back and gather more picks in the draft. He can then draft plenty of players that can be instant impacts and set the foundation for the Chicago Bears alongside players like Justin Fields, Darnell Mooney, and Roquan Smith. This draft was conducted on NFL Mock Draft Database. I made one trade in this draft and that trade was acquiring picks 64, 96, and 145 from the Denver Broncos in exchange for pick 48.
