Ah, yes! Mock draft season is officially upon us! My belated Christmas present to you came a little bit later this year, but I am excited to officially kick off our 2025 draft coverage today with my first mock draft. This year’s draft is rather unique, as many of the projected top prospects have dealt with significant injuries that have cheapened their stock. However, very few unheralded prospects rose to the occasion and developed into elite-level prospects. While there are several positions which provide solid depth, the class as a whole is not incredibly strong, and the quarterback position is not likely to garner as much attention in this draft. Only three quarterbacks are projected to go in Round 1, and many pundits do not consider any of them to be a top-ten player in this class. As it pertains to the mock draft, the rules have not changed from previous years. My mock drafts are a projection of what I think will happen based on what I am hearing and believe makes sense. This is not necessarily a reflection of what I would do if I was the general manager. Mock 1.0 will be just one round long, but we will expand this as we get closer to the draft. Be sure to share your thoughts on this mock in the comment section below, but without further adieu, let’s take a look at Wilbar’s 2025 NFL Mock Draft 1.0!
