The end of the NFL regular season is, well, an end. Half the teams in the league will continue toward the ultimate goal, but for half the league, it signifies a fresh start. Free agency, the trade carousel, and ultimately the NFL draft allows teams to remake themselves, like the top two teams in 2022’s draft, the playoff-bound Jacksonville Jaguars and the Detroit Lions, who came to a tiebreaker away from grabbing the final spot.
