Regular season football is right around the corner, and while many Bears fans are rightfully focused on the NFL season, that also means college football is starting soon. As part of my esteemed duties of the resident draft nerd at Windy City Gridiron, I make preparations for the NFL Draft a yearlong activity. I’ve been scouting prospects for the 2025 NFL Draft since this April, adding players to my big board before the 2024 draft had taken place. That may seem extreme — and it certainly is — but to build the most thorough board possible, you need to scout as many games as possible. Late in May, I shared my top 50 prospects in the 2025 draft. Since then, I’ve been slowly but surely adding more players to my board.
