Joe Douglas wanted to make it clear Tuesday that the Aaron Rodgers trade isn’t officially official yet. There’s still some I-dotting and T-crossing to do. But, with compensation agreed to, nothing will stop the Jets from landing the Packers quarterback now. And that compensation was steep. The Jets flipped first-round picks (moving from No. 13 to No. 15), then parted with the No. 42 and 207 picks in this years draft, along with a conditional second-round pick next year, to land Rodgers and No. 170 from Green Bay. Again: Steep. That’s kinda the going rate for really good quarterbacks.
