If you are a Rams fan, this isn’t for you. For one, your team is still very much a contender despite recent struggles, but more importantly, General Manager Les Snead has pushed most of his NFL Draft poker chips into the middle of the table. Not counting compensatory picks, the Rams’ first selection will come in the fifth round. Happy holidays to all the Rams’ college scouts who have extra time on their hands. Indeed, the Rams will receive a third-rounder in the compensatory process because of the Lions hiring Brad Holmes, Los Angeles’ former director of college scouting, as their general manager in 2021. But it’s too early to discuss the third round.
