Two things seem a near certainty through the first few weeks of the college football and NFL schedule. One, Trevor Lawrence is the first-overall pick and it's not even close. Two, the Jets are the worst team in the league and if they have the chance, they'll have to take Lawrence. This isn't so much an indictment of Sam Darnold and has much more to do with the current state of the Jets.
