Still Curtain

With the Steelers firmly in the driver's seat for a playoff spot following the 2024 regular season, the last thing we want to do is think about where Pittsburgh will be selecting in next April's draft. But just like the year flew by, so will time fly until the 2025 NFL Draft rolls around. The 2024 season has exposed both the good and the bad with the Steelers' roster. While there's a lot to look forward to, there's also room for major improvement at positions that either lack talent, a long-term answer, or both. Based on Pittsburgh's current record and where they land in the NFL standings, we will assume for now that the Steelers will be picking late, let's call it 26th in each round. In my first three-round mock draft ahead of the 2025 draft, I have the Steelers taking a swing to rebuild the foundation of their team.
