The Seattle Seahawks are in an interesting spot heading into the 2025 offseason. The team is currently over the cap, so some moves will need to be made if the team wants to make notable additions in free agency. One player who would free up a ton of cap space is starting quarterback, Geno Smith. Moving Smith would save the Seahawks about $31 million. The quarterback had a good-not-great season in 2024 and will turn 35 during the 2025 season, so the team could decide to think about the future and move on this offseason.
