With the New England Patriots falling to 1-5, it’s time to start considering ways to improve the team, and unfortunately, the only real ways they can do that is through the 2025 NFL draft or giving up assets via trades. Unfortunately, they are a team lacking in quality assets. So we need to keep our eyes on the next draft cycle. The Patriots have made the first major step in the right direction by starting Drake Maye. Now, it’s time to get the rookie quarterback some help on the field. This mock draft simulation was performed on Pro Football Focus. Keep in mind, these draft picks are based more on what I would do if the season ended and the draft started today. We’re going to have a little fun with this one in particular by implementing a monumental trade early on the board for New England.
