Currently sitting atop the NFC South, the Atlanta Falcons are in a prime position to make a push for the playoffs, and it shows in this team mock as they are sitting at pick #21. When I look at this roster, I see the benefits of a suspect NFC South helping them this season, as there are still some areas where they need some reinforcements in the form of the 2025 NFL Draft. This early in NFL Draft season (let’s be honest, the draft season never ends these days), it’s hard to imagine the Falcons not trying to acquire some draft capital, as they only have 4 picks in the upcoming draft. If you look at recent draft-day trades, if the Falcons do indeed pick at 21, there will be plenty of teams later in the first or early in the second round that could target that spot looking to grab a player slipping in the draft.
