Cowboys Wire

With signs of life, albeit too little too late, the Dallas Cowboys might not need a complete roster overhaul afterwards. Don’t get things twisted, this team is bad, but at least they aren’t scraping the bottom of the barrel of the league. There are clearly teams worse off; but again, Dallas has plenty of work to do to return to contender status. More than likely, that starts with the 2025 NFL Draft. At 5-7, the Cowboys are sitting in the middle of the first round, No. 14 as Week 13 continues on Sunday. The team needs help in several positions, especially with some of the expected departures. The Cowboys are likely to lose at least 50% of OG Zack Martin, DE DeMarcus Lawrence, DT Osa Odighizuwa and WR Brandin Cooks. The club will have to work in free agency in 2025, unlike in 2024, but they will still leave holes that must be filled in the draft. Here’s a Week 13, three-round mock conducted on Pro Football Focus, that looks to do just that.
