The Philadelphia Eagles are in a unique — and envious — position with three first-round picks in the 2022 NFL Draft. Philadelphia fans can thank former Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz for one of those extra selections, as well as the Dolphins for trading up for Jaylen Waddle in the prior draft. The 2021 season itself did not go as expected. After starting 2-5, it seemed as if the Eagles were destined to land in the top-five with their own pick. To much surprise, they finished the season with a roar. The tone was changed with a newly established ground game and significant contributions from the defensive side of the ball. By winning seven of their last ten down the stretch, Philly was able to sneak into the playoffs as the seventh seed.
