The Carolina Panthers made a major move on Monday afternoon in acquiring former third overall pick in the 2018 NFL Draft, Sam Darnold. The Panthers didn’t have to give up too much either to acquire Darnold having to only send a 2021 sixth rounder and a 2022 second and fourth rounders as well. A surprisingly low asking price for a guy who was taken third overall just three years ago and who will be just 24 at the start of the season. This trade could end up being looked at as a total steal for the Panthers if this pans out and he finds the success many once projected for him and if it does not go well then you still have your 2022 first rounder to draft a quarterback.
