We’re only about halfway through the NFL season and we still have a handful of weeks left in the college football regular season, but if you ask me, it’s never too early for mock draft season. After five mock drafts last year and a historic draft in Detroit earlier this year, it’s time for my first mock of the draft process. Since it’s so early in this process, don’t expect much, or any, accuracy with these picks. Use this as an opportunity to learn of a few names and get an idea of team needs and fits. Also, no trades. I would be an insane person to, with all of the unknowns in terms of the draft order, who would come back to school or declare for the draft, and no free agency period, to even attempt trades. I’m excited to get into the first of many mocks, so let’s do just that.
