The annual Senior Bowl is officially in the books and it was a good chance for some top NFL draft prospects to make names for themselves and improve their stocks. Guys like Trevor Penning and Malik Willis, who played for smaller programs, had a chance to prove themselves against elite competition and they did just that. They both raised their stocks and they went from potentially Day 2 picks into the first-round range. Will they be good enough from now until the draft to be selected in round one? This is an interesting year for the NFL draft because there isn’t a clear No. 1 overall pick. There’s no Trevor Lawrence or Tua Tagovailoa type of quarterback who is sure to go early in the draft. This is actually one of the worst years for quarterbacks in recent memory.
