The 2021 NFL Draft is in the rear view mirror. While plenty of people are still dishing out draft grades and evaluating what teams did over the course of the three-day event, we at 247Sports are ready to turn the page and peek ahead to the 2022 NFL Draft, which is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas. Let’s be clear from the start. Creating a mock draft is never easy, and trying to assemble one 51 weeks in advance of the actual extravaganza is leaving plenty of room for error. Would it be nice to nail some picks down almost a year out? Absolutely, but this exercise is more about identifying some of college football’s top players through the lens of the NFL and less about next April’s top five picks perfectly.
