With college football’s Week 0 kicking off this weekend, now is the perfect time to take a holistic look at how each position group stacks up against the others and which players stand out even among the elite prospects. These are the names to watch this fall, and we’ll be tracking them to see how their stock changes between now and April. I’ve ranked my top 50 players for next year’s draft below. This big board does account for positional value — it isn’t simply a ranking of the best players, but the positions are weighted to account for their value on an NFL football field.
