The New Orleans Saints are still a team in transition after a rollercoaster 2022 season that almost featured a playoff berth. This past season featured significant adversity including injuries to quarterback Jameis Winston, receiver Michael Thomas, and others as well as new coaching personnel after Sean Payton’s one-year “retirement.” Still, the Saints managed to finish the year with a 7-10 record and were in play for a playoff spot until Week 17. As the offseason continues after a big quarterback signing to start it, the team will be looking to address several key positions to improve their chances of contending for a division title in a weak NFC South. With the 2023 NFL Draft approaching, the Saints have a chance to make significant additions to their roster to push them over the hump after a down year in 2022. Here’s what their draft class might look like.
