The Giants have plenty of needs to address and will enter the 2023 NFL Draft with the means to address them. They are slated to make at least nine draft picks with a high likelihood of adding a couple more through the compensatory pick system. Though thex NFL doesn’t officially announce those selections until the new league year (March 15), Over The Cap’s Nick Korte projects the Giants to pick up extra sixth- and seventh-round selections. The Giants also have an extra third from the Chiefs, via the Kadarius Toney trade. That was a compensatory pick Kansas City received when former executive Ryan Poles was hired by the Bears to be their general manager. Giants brass has already been in Mobile, Alabama, scouting talent at the Senior Bowl and will continue the push to the draft at next week’s NFL Scouting Combine. The combine, free agency and individual pro days will continue to shape the Giants’ big board ahead of the NFL Draft, but before those events take place, here’s an early seven-round mock draft.
