The college season is in full swing, and there is enough tape out there to start generating thoughtful opinions on players that could be drafted this year. The draft order will not be the same in April, but the teams at the top will most likely remain at the top. The Eagles and Jets currently own half of the top-10 and if everything continues on this same trajectory, that could very well end up being a real scenario that happens. The Bengals are projected to make the playoffs; the Chiefs are not projected to make the playoffs, this year is nothing but traditional and it is very interesting. Traditionally, there is a quarterback that stands out above the rest, but this year is different. Last year, there were five quarterbacks taken in the first round and all of them have started games already. In 2022, that is very unlikely to happen. Quarterbacks will be drafted, but there is not a sure-fire top option that will be guaranteed to be the top pick. If there is a year that sees a non-quarterback picked number one overall, it is this year.
